BSAC Training

We train divers to all levels in a variety of skills in a variety of places.  Here are just some of them...    Ocean Diver, Sports Diver, Dive Leader, Assistant Open Water Instructor, Open Water Instructor, Boat Handling, Search and Rescue...

Basic water skills are taught primarily in our local pool during the months of November until March. This is necessary for learning skills such as mask removal, alternative air source and buoyancy in a safe controlled environment.

We also practice our basic skills in the local Marina which is a locked marina allowing shelter from tides and currents. This builds confidence with all levels of skills including lifts and tows for rescue training.

Our main diving base is a custom made building which we share with the Sea Cadets, it includes a classroom, changing facilities and extremely important, a well stocked bar!!

There are many instructors at Hartlepool Divers including the owners of these mug shots!! They all participate in teaching throughout the year.
